We are doing a lot of work renovating our house so a lot of my creative head space is taken up with paint colours and new floor coverings. I do manage a little stitching some evenings. These are old doileys to which I am adding beads, stitches and buttons.
I love the idea of re-using these old doileys and buttons.

I'm glad to see you back here Dian - it seems ages since you posted on a blog. But I can well understand why you have been too busy with your house to think about blogging. We've just had the roof replaced on our house, and that was enough for us! What a gorgeous idea - adding buttons and beads to an old doily to embellish it - one of the many things I love about blogging is seeing what people come up with. There are some very creative souls out there ;-)
wondered where you had got to, the house will look great once all is done then you can get back to your stitching. Did you get up to the quilt show in Melbourne ther weekend before last?
