Today the weather here has been wet and windy with thunder and lightening and hail as well.
There are about 100 fires in all throughout the state.
This is such a huge country - the conditions vary considerably. Goodness the images on the tv are horrible.
I hope this is over soon for all those who are in danger or who have lost their homes.

Oh Dian, the bushfires are so bad up there. I just did a post on my blog about them too. Revives memories of Black Saturday. I suppose now we'll have Black Thursday to add to our vocabularies...
