Sitting in the waiting room

Yesterday I sat in the waiting room to see a specialist and was amazed at the amount of time that is wasted by all the people in the waiting rooms in a large consulting suite.  People playing games on smart phones or  just sitting staring into space.  I always take my stitching and a sketchbook with me.  The specialist was delayed with an emergency surgery so I sat for more than an hour happily stitching.  It was an opportunity to chill out for a while and relax.

LOL, I concur with you on the time wasted by people in waiting rooms! Like you, I usually have some stitching to be done. I achieved quite a lot in the past week while sitting at Ken's bedside while he was in hospital.

i too waste too much time waiting with lance in drs and specialists rooms. i sometimes think i should take some stitching with me but never do with everything else i cart around lol. maybe that sock wool i bought in ballarat would be an easy thing to take as it would require minimal time to shove back in the bag quickly when finally called lol. i hope all is well with you dian
