modems and memories

This week has been a strange combination of relaxation and stress.

The relaxation included a visit to the library and then across to the op shop.

This was one of the op shops that Ann and  I  visited when she was here recently.

After that I took a little time out to take some pics at the beach.  This particular area is know as Mills Beach and there is a seat up the top where you can sit and while away the time.

In the distance you can see the yacht club in Mornington.   There is a lovely restaurant/cafe overlooking the water and Ann and I had coffee there one morning and the following week returned for lunch and a relaxing chat.

As for the stress: our modem decided it had served us long enough and finally stopped working a couple of days ago.  I felt quite lost and out of touch without my computer but we are back on line now.

Lovely pics of the sea Dian, would like to be there right now, looked like a good froth of wind whipping the waves. Here on the pond too! Amazing how much we rely on these machines isn't it! xox Corrine

These lovely pics of the bay are an artists dream. I lived at Portsea many years ago and know the beautiful scenic coastline down in that area.

How did we ever cope without our link to the world via the internet...glad you are now back online.

I am glad you are back online. Isn't it amazing how, in such a short space of time, we have become so reliant on our computers?
I love the view over the ocean, would love to have sat there and watched it with you. How lucky you are.

Sorry to hear the wonderful world of cyberspace has been giving you grief Dian. I have been a tad 'absent' myself, so just catching up now. I love the photos of the sea, just lovely. Hope the computer behaves now, although I see in a later post you are still experiencing difficulties.
