Daylight saving and time for craft.

Daylight saving has started and I will say straight up - I don't like it.  I am a morning person and now it is dark when I am starting my day.

This morning I was awake extra early: hubby has an early start on Mondays (out of bed at 4 am) and I cannot let him start the week without his breakfast.

Sometimes I go back to bed but this morning I decided to do a little bit of creating.

I had some gift tags in the stash and had never been able to come to grips with the idea of embellishing them.

This morning  I felt quite inspired with the help of two cups of coffee:  After about an hour and a half I had encrusted one tag with paper and lace and one notebook was covered in new paper with a lace motif in one corner.

There are finishing touches required but I feel I am on the right track.

As the sun warmed up I was thrilled to be out in the garden.

Everything is growing quickly and there is plenty to do but there are also plenty of beautiful things to enjoy.

Hello Dian
Lovely things to play with and it sounds like you are well on the way!

I'm finding it hard to get into anything at the moment.

Our daylight saving starts 27 October during our Labour weekend - I'm an early bird like you!

Have a lovely week
Shane
