I have managed to fit in some op shopping lately and have bought some lovely hand worked pieces, most of which were in need of a good wash and iron. Anyway I will just let the pics speak for themselves.

Lovely pieces. Thes old embroideries were so well done. Lucky you. I am sure you will find good uses for them all. Like that butterfly...xox Corrine
How lovely these pieces are, full credit to those who took the time and patience to do them. The pink rose and the butterfly ones are particularly nice I think
Hello Dian, I found you on the ATC blog, and as soon as I saw the subtitle 'vintage linens' I swooped! I have been collecting hand embroidered linens for many years (as well as stitching my own stamped linens), and I love to see what other people have collected. You must have some good oppies over there, to find linens like these. They never turn up these days in my neck of the woods (Eltham, Greensborough) and most of my finds in the past have been on eBay.
Oh Dian, they are all beautiful. I am sure you are thrilled to have purchased these. I saw so many like this used in country dolls' clothes whilst judging yesterday, so gorgeous, and a great way to use/display pieces from the past. They had been tea dyed or dipped in Parisienne essence to give them that 'old' look. Thank you so much for sharing these, I always get a buzz from seeing the things you 'find'.........LOL.
