Autumn is well under way now and there are more leaves on the ground than on the trees.

I am always fascinated by the changing colours of the different kind of leaves.

The darkness closes in early in the evenings which means that there is more time for stitching and other creative activities.

I have been making some fairy slippers and some tassels tonight.   I do enjoy these small items - easy to do and finished off quickly.  Very satisfying.  There will be pics in my next post.

Looks like you found some wonderful treasures while away. Look forward to seeing what you do with them.
The weather up here has been very mild for the last couple of days. No doubt that will change today LOL

I saw some beautiful colours going through Toowoomba in the last few days, and, as you say, more on the ground than on the trees. I love all the different colours of autumn too......yellows, to rusts, to maroons, to brown, just glorious. Hope to see your tassels and slippers soon. The evenings are longer now, and stitching is beckoning most nights here too. TV mostly a bore.
