A little felting and an exciting link

Using my hand felting tool I added some yarn and silk to the leaf.  This whole piece is experimental as I have not used evelon before.  The hand felting was reasonably simple but I think it would be easy to break a needle as the "cloth" is fairly hard to push through.  Concentration is always needed when felting.

It has been a busy day with the twins so I have just spent a little time looking at one of my favourite blogs.

Even if you are not interested in polymer clay I am sure you will find the work interesting.  Check out the link to the flicker page too.

your leaf looks really good, interesting that it is hard work to felt on evelon, wonder how it reacts to an embellishing machine, maybe I will dig my evelon out of the bottomless drawer full of purchases never used and have a go!Think we all have bits we bought but never took any further.

Hello Dianne
I love working with evelon. It is a great fabric to paint & then stitch into. I use it a lot for making book covers, tags & emroidery backings. You can see some of the things I have made with it on my blog.

How are you by the way. Haven't seen you on the forum for a while now.

Dian, that leaf is stunning!! Thank you so much for sharing it. I still haven't used my Evolon, but now you have me itching to do so. Thanks for the link, have it bookmarked, and am just starting to become interested in polymer clay work. Cheers, and stay warm.
