The last few days I have been working on this little piece of embroidery.
The needleweaving and blanket stitch are in a variegated perle thread and the french knots in single strand cotton.
I am not sure what I will use it for yet but it was relaxing to do.

it is great to just sit down with a few threads and have a doodle can see you are enjoying doing it.
simply love your work. do you "make up" the designs yourself.? Great talent!!! Just wish I had the time to do this sort of thing. I need 48 hours in one day just to get thru "mundane" stuff .

I do make the designs up myself. I stitch while waiting for appointments or watching tv.
Anything with french knots makes me swoon anyway. Nice piece! xox
